Mozambique opposition reports another attack on leader
(AGI) Maputo, Oct 2 - Assassination attempts have been madeagainst Mozambique opposition Renamo leader, Afonso Dhlakama,said the party. Seven vehicles attacked people in Chitakavillage in Gondola district, accusing them of protecting theleader, said spokesman Antonio Muchanga In a second attackon Sept. 25 a convoy carrying Mr Dhlakama was attacked inManica province and 23 bodyguards were killed. The Renamoleader escaped, but the spokesman declined to give details ofwhere he is staying. .
