Migrant boat sinks off Libya

(AGI) Rome, Sept 21 - A dinghy loaded with migrants sank 30miles off the eastern coast of Libya on Sunday. A mayday callwas made via a satellite phone, and the Italian Coast Guardalerted a Singaporean cargo ship which was closest to the areaof the wreck. The rescue ship crew reported that the dinghy hadcapsized and that several dead bodies were floating in thewater. Fifty-five people have been rescued, while around thirtyare still missing. . .
