(AGI) Dhaka, Sept 30 - Bangladesh Interior Minister,Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that Dhaka and Rome do notbelieve that Cesare Tavella was killed by the hand of the Isis.A communique released by the so-called Islamic State claimingthe murder of the activist, which occurred on Monday night inthe diplomatic neighbourhood of Dhaka, 'has no grounds', theminister told journalists, among them Daily Star reporters.Earlier, he had chaired a meeting with a representative of theItalian Embassy, where the Italian delegation observed that"Tavella had probably come into conflict with someone, being anactivist of an NGO, and there could be other reasons we are notaware of," said Kamal. The minister added that the Italiandelegation "agrees with us: this was not done by Isis." ItalianForeign Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, on the fringes of the UnitedNations Assembly sessions, said,"It is important to ascertaintruth in Daesh's claims, which at times come too soon. It hasbeen a brutal murder, no matter what, of an Italian activistwho was working in Bangladesh for important purposes." (AGI). .
