Expo Milan presented at Italian embassy in Istanbul

(AGI) Istanbul March 18 - The Expo Milan 2015 was presented ata special event held in Palazzo Venezia, the historic residencein Istanbul of the Italian ambassador to Turkey. The event wasorganised by the Lombardy Region in collaboration with theItalian embassy and the Turkish government agency forinternationalization (DEIK). During the event, which wasattended by around 200 guests, Turkey's pavilion at theUniversal Exposition in Milan was also unveiled. Additionally, the head of investment promotion of theChamber of Commerce of Milan - Promos, Stefano Nigro,illustrated the main investment opportunities in Lombardy.During his speech, Ambassador Mattiolo said that "Turkey willhave the fifth-largest pavilion at the event, a considerableeffort that Italy highly appreciates and that once againdemonstrates the excellent relations between the two countries.Italy has great hopes for Expo 2015 both in terms of promotingthe excellence of our country and to attract new flows oftourists. To achieve that goal, Turkey can play an importantrole thanks to the simplification of procedures for theissuance of visas to Turkish citizens started by Italy."
