(AGI) Lisbon, June 3 - Italian author Chiara Gamberale willread excerpts from her book "Per dieci minuti" at EuropeanLiterature Night, in the Sala do Brasao of the Museu de SaoRoque in Lisbon. The excerpts will also be read in Portugueseby actress Rita Brutt. The event, the third, will be held onJune 6 in 10 impressive locations in the Principe Realdistrict, and will involve 10 European contemporary writers.The texts will be read in the original by the authors and thenin Portuguese by actors and students of the Lisbon Theatre andFilm School. The readings will last 10-15 minutes each and willbe repeated every half hour to allow visitors to complete theevening's literary itinerary. The event was organised by theculture institutes and embassies of the countries in the EunicPortugal network. Chiara Gamberale was born in 1977 inRome and has written several novels. She made her debut with"Una Vita Sottile" in 1998. She also wrote "La Zona Cieca",which was awarded the Selezione Campiello 2008 prize, theinternational best-seller "Le Luci nelle Case degli Altri"(translated in Portuguese in 2012 as "As luzas nas casas dosoutros"), "Quattro etti d'amore grazie", "Per dieci minuti" and"Avro' cura di te", with Massimo Gramellini.
