AGI signs deal with Iran's IRNA

Furthermore, with the newmanagement under the aegis of the Iranian government, IRNA aimsat boosting its activity with a special focus on economicmatters, hence, the agreement with AGI, fits perfectly withinthe strategy we are pursuing." Mr Di Giovanni said: "AGI ishonoured to be the first western editorial agency to set forthon a cooperation with Iran after the cancellation ofinternational sanctions. This decision was determinatelysupported by the Italian government as it opens before us a newera of hope, as Iran's Foreign Minister, Mohommad Javad Zarif,very appropriately defined it."
