Two killed in road accident in central Italy

(AGI) Ortona (Chieti), July 11 - Two people died and severalwere injured in a road accident on the A14 motorway in centralItaly on Friday. Six cars and two lorries crashed betweenLanciano and Ortona, in the Abruzzo Region, on the southboundcarriageway. Rescue workers have arrived at the scene. Thesection between Pescara Sud and Lanciano has been closed.Vehicles heading south must leave the motorway at Ortona, wherea 3km queue has formed. . .
