Turnout low in Emilia Romagna centre-left primaries

(AGI) Bologna, Sept 28 - Voter turnout was low for thecentre-left primaries in Emilia Romagna to determine thecandidate for the region's presidential elections on November23. A total of 41,816 citizens cast their vote on Sunday in the800 polling stations set up throughout the region, far lessthan the previous primary elections and also quite lowconsidering that there are 75,000 registered voters for theDemocratic Party (PD) alone.
