(AGI) Rome, Oct 9 - Saipem has secured contracts for offshoreengineering and construction works worth over 600 millioneuros, a corporate communique reported on Friday. The mostsignificant contracts include: -Saudi Aramco Karan, an EPCIcontract assigned by Saudi Aramco, to include engineering,provision, transport and installation of offshore material,including a monitoring platform, a headwell production module,auxiliary platforms, a 20'' internally coated flowline and acomposite power cable. Installation activities will take placeoff Saudi Arabian shores. - Eni Angola East Hub, within theEast Hub Development project, situated some 350 km north-westof Luanda, Angola. The contract includes the supply of 5flexible risers and 20 km of stiff flowlines, as well as theinstallation of submarine facilities including umbilicalsections, connectors and connecting pipes, and 14multiple-terminal connectors which will be manufactured inAngola.
