Police arrest 28 drug traffickers in Sardinia and Lombardy

(AGI) Nuoro, Sept 16 - Italian police concluded operation"Cassiopea" on Tuesday, which led to the arrest of 28 people,including Italians, Romanians and Albanians, involved in thelarge-scale trafficking of drugs, weapons and counterfeit eurosin Albania, Sardinia and north Italy. The arrests were made incollaboration with Romanian police in the provinces of Nuoro,Sassari, Brescia and in Romania. A total of 30 people wereinvestigated on suspicion of involvement in the purchase,possession and sale of drugs. (AGI).
