(AGI) Rome, Sept 15 - Amid heightened security, teachers andstudents gathered outside a Palermo school on Monday, inprotest at visiting Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. Following thesummer recess the government submitted proposals for sweepingeducation sector reforms, and the PM's visit was timed tocoincide with both the reopening of schools and the 21stanniversary of the murder of Fr. Pino Puglisi by the Sicilianmafia. Under the government's proposals, many of the teacherstaking part in the protests will not be eligible for full-timeemployment. . .
