(AGI) Ottawa, June 22 - Automobile lovers and fans of Ferrari's'Cavallino' have assembled for three days in Canada for the'FCA Ottawa Ferrari Festival'. This is the 10th edition of theevent which has become a well-established festival for theCanadian and Italian-Canadian communities, organised byOttawa's Ferrari Club of America. The Festival featured the'Italian Car Parade' launched by the Italian Ambassador toCanada, Gian Lorendo Cornado. During his address, the diplomatunderlined that the 'FCA Ottawa Ferrari Festival' is anextraordinary opportunity to showcase an Italian brand ofexcellence acknowledged across the world and, at the same time,it is an occasion to celebrate the bond of friendship betweenItaly and Canada. "This friendship is rooted on a robust pillarrepresented by the approximately 1.5 million Canadians ofItalian origin living in this country," remarked theAmbassador. The parade, made up by over 50 Ferrari cars - mostof which were Testarossa, F430 and 308GTB - started from theresidence of the Italian Ambassador and went along PrestonStreet, Ottawa'a Little Italy, where it was welcomed bythousands of spectators.
