(AGI) Rome, July 14 - Operations have begun to refloat theCosta Concordia cruise liner which ran aground off GiglioIsland on the night of Jan. 13 2012. The caissons attached tothe side of the ship will lift the hull by about two metres.The ship will then be towed about 50 metres out to sea. Thegroup of engineers led by Nicholas Sloane arrived at the siteat 6 o'clock sharp Monday morning for a last check of theinstallations. The refloating operation was scheduled to beginat 8 a.m. and are expected to last through most of the day. . .
