Nearly half of Italians households cut consumer spending
(AGI) Rome, Sept 25 - Nearly half of all Italian households (47percent) have lowered their consumer spending, Italian farmers'association Coldiretti and polling company IXE reported. Thesehouseholds bought more low-cost products, fewer delicacies andwent more often to discounts stores. Compared to 2013, foodspending fell by 2.5 percent overall, by 4.2 percent for smalllocal food stores and 1.7 percent for large-scale retail. . .
