Music for the earth: spotlight on the small farmers of Italy
The concert-reading, titled Music for the earth, will develop the theme of Expo Milano 2015, Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, as it will delve into special aspects of this, agriculture and respect for the earth. The great music of Edoardo Bennato will be dedicated to small farmers, fishers, refiners, small producers of quality Italian foods and leaders of Made in Italy agribusiness who are the focus of attention at Expo Milano 2015. Listening to them, learning about their challenges and their ways of meeting those challenges is necessary to help have a deep sense of the Exposition theme: Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. Great music created out of the human and artistic sensitivity of Bennato with a counterpoint of performances by Sveva Sagramola and Red Ronnie, who will share with the world the music of the Italian singer and the labor of thousands of people who work hard every day to preserve and distribute Italian food products. Along with Edoardo Bennato, other participants in the concert will be Giusy Ferreri, Omar Pedrini, Luca Barbarossa, Beppe Fiorello and Padre Filip and Bluette L'ora Canonica orchestra. All this will make it a great celebration of the primacy of Italian biodiversity and the first links in the agricultural chain.
