(AGI) Milan, Nov 15 - Due to the flooding of the Lambro river,Milanese authorities invited citizens not to venture out intheir cars in the affected areas of Forlanini, Lambrate, andMecenate, which lead to Linate airport. The Seveso river alsoflooded on Saturday. The situation in the city grewincreasingly difficult due to heavy and constant rain frommorning to evening. Firemen were called to intervene numeroustimes to handle flooded basements and unsteady trees.
