Chief CommissionerGiuseppe Sala, said: "Expo is enjoyed for many reasons, somemore significant than others and the tree has definitely been asymbol that has played an important role. Needing to open thesite and make the area safe we necessarily have to freeze thesevalues (The Tree, Palazzo Italia and Pavilion Zero,) as we tryto move quickly. We should be finished by May but I thinksooner, and we'll try to work out whether they can be broughtback to life as they are in the spring." (AGI).
