(AGI) Turin, June 1 - Jeep automobiles has almost tripled itssales in the first 4 months of 2015, recording a rise of 287percent. The success is due to the Renegade, the first Jeepmodel manufactured in Italy and exported to over 100 countriesaround the world. The Renegade model extends its range withthree new engines: the 1.6 E-torQ with 110 hp, a five-speedtransmission and front-wheel drive; the 1.4 turbopetrol-fuelled MultiAir II with 170 hp, a nine-speed automatictransmission and 4x4 wheel drive; and the 1.4 turbopetrol-fuelled MultiAir II with 140 hp, a six-speed automatictransmission with double clutching and front-wheel drive. At present, the range of Jeep Renegade models sold in Ialy arefour types: Sport, Longitude, Limited and Trailhawk, three ofwhich have front-wheel drive; the "Jeep Active Drive" and the"Jeep Active Drive Low" are all-wheel drive. They have fourdifferent transmissions: a five-speed manual transmission; asix-speed manual transmission, a six-speed automatictransmission with double clutching and a nine-speed automatictransmission. The price range goes from 20,800 euros forthe new 'Sport 1.6 E-torQ" model to 32,800 euros for theTrailhawk 2.0 Multijet II series with 170 hp, AT9 transmissionand 'Jeep Active Drive Low' all-wheel drive.
