(AGI) Rome, Dec 3 - Italy's Foreign Ministry has confirmed itscommitment to including disabled people in the workplace.Firstly, a stair lift was opened at the Aldo Moro Hall of theministry on the International Day of People with Disabilities.It was part of the ministry's attempt to integrate and includepeople with disabilities. It is also removing obstacles to makethe building more usable for disabled people through theDisability Action Plan of the Directorate General forDevelopment Cooperation and monitoring by the Unified GuaranteeCommittee.T he lift was organised by the Directorate Generalfor Management and Information and Communications Technologyand the Directorate General for Human Resources, Budget andInnovation. The ceremony was attended by Deputy SecretaryGeneral Antonio Bernardini, Director General for HumanResources, Budget and Innovation, Elisabetta Belloni, DirectorGeneral for Management and Information and CommunicationsTechnology, Eduardo Brunetti and the Director General forDevelopment Cooperation, Giampaolo Cantini.
