(AGI) Palermo, Sept 15 - The government's education sectorproposals have their sights set on the long-term, PrimeMinister Matteo Renzi told teachers and students at a Palermoschool on Monday. His visit was timed to coincide with thestart of the school year and the 21st anniversary of the murderof Fr. Pino Puglisi by the Sicilian mafia. "It was customary,under past governments, for [education] ministers to take apiecemeal approach to reforms. That bred confusion, and thathas to change," he said.
