(AGI) Rome, Sept 15 - Italy will close the year in recession,according to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation andDevelopment (OECD) in its September interim forecast. GDP willcontract 0.4 percent, the organisation reported. The economyshrunk by 1.8 percent in 2013, but there are some signs ofrecovery next year when GDP is expected to grow 0.1 percent.Italy will be the only major economy in the OECD to contractthis year. GDP is forecast to grow 2.1 percent in the U.S., 1.5percent in Germany, 0.4 percent in France and 3.1 percent inBritain. .
