(AGI) Bratislava, March 19 - Italian cult band Goblin, bestknown for its soundtracks for the films of Dario Argento, hasgiven a concert in Bratislava. The group also provided themusic for films by directors Bruno Corbucci, Bruno Mattei andfor "Zombies" by American director George Romero. The concertin the Slovak capital was organised by the Italian CulturalInstitute and opened by the Slovak rock group Persona Grata.Goblin is active on the live circuit, touring Japan, Canada,the U.S. and Europe and playing at many festivals. They alsoperformed at the prestigious Mito Festival in Milan and Turin,where the best classical and contemporary music is presented.They sold out London's Barbican Centre during a world tour inFebruary. Their biggest success was the soundtrack for the film"Deep Red", which was made 40 year ago. A million copies of thetrack were sold in the year it was released and it remained inthe charts for 52 weeks, 16 in first place.. .
