Immigrants camp in construction site of Rome train station
(AGI) Rome, June 26 - Immigrants have set up a semi-permanentcamp next to the construction site of Rome's Tuscolana trainstation, often crossing the site itself completely unimpairedduring working hours. In the open air camp, beds, pans andcookers are placed only metres away from the tracks and wagons,with some immigrants putting their clothing out to dry onmakeshift laundry lines. Some of the immigrants have alreadybeen living in the camp for some time, while others are newarrivals. One family comprising a mother, father, and theirlittle girl - possibly born in the camp itself
