Hollande arrives in Baghdad to offer support against IS

(AGI) Baghdad, Sept 12 - French President Francois Hollandetravelled to Baghdad on Friday to support the new Iraqigovernment in its fight against the Islamic extremist groupIslamic State (IS). It is the first visit to the country by ahead of state since the jihadist group took over large areas inits bid to set up a "caliphate". The president's plane carried15 tons of humanitarian aid for Arbil, the capital of Iraq'sKurdistan Region.
