(AGI) Milan, Sept 9 - The number of lung cancer cases diagnosedin Italy within the end of 2014 will reach 50,000, according toearly information from a report by the Italian association ofoncological medicine (AIOM). An amount well above the averageof 38,000 seen up to 2013. The publication, which is expectedin October and was published with funding from the Insiemecontro il Cancro (Together against Cancer) foundation and theWomen against lung cancer in Europe (WALCE) association,testifies to the need for greater efforts towards preventionand early diagnoses. . .
