Explosion at fireworks factory in Abruzzo

(AGI) Rome, July 9 - Local fire fighters responded to anexplosion in a fireworks factory in Tagliacozzo before 2 p.m.on Wednesday. So far there have been no reports of casualties,but six people are reported to have been employed in thefactory and three are reported as missing. There were powerfailures in adjacent areas and windows were shattered by theblast. A thick column of smoke could be seen rising from thefactory for miles around. (AGI) . .
