(AGI) Rome, June 23 - Europe's exchanges closed on a negativenote, shocked by the eurozone's Purchasing Managers' Index(PMI) for June, which showed a surprising slowdown. Wall Streetis also down, notwithstanding May's positive trend in homesales and the positive June PMI index for the manufacturingsector. London lost 0.36 percent to close at 6,800.56 points.Paris back-pedalled 0.57 percent to 4,515.57 points andFrankfurt plummeted 0.66 percent to 9,920.92 points. Milanfared the worst, with the FTSE MIB responding to profit takingand plunging 1.33 percent to 21,694.75 points. Madrid lost 0.33percent. (AGI) . .
