Eurogroup calls: Italy "effective", France "additional"

di lettura
(AGI) Brussels, Dec 8 - The Eurogroup has called on Italy andFrance to comply with the budgetary requirements set by theUnion for 2015. The two countries, which are considered to beat risk of not living up to EU budget rules, will be subjectedto a in-depth review by the European Commission in March. However there is a difference in the language used. In theparagraph regarding Italy, the Eurogroup speaks of "effectivemeasures", which might be necessary to improve its structuralreforms. In the case of France, where the gap is larger betweenthe measures needed to fix its budget deficit and the reformsgovernment has announced, it is said that "additional measureswould be needed to allow for an improvement of the structuraleffort in order to comply with the rules of the Stability andGrowth Pact". . .
