(AGI) Rome, Sept 19 - The euro closed the week sharply down ata 14-month low of 1.283 dollars. Despite Chairwoman JanetYellen's dovish assurances following the Fed's announcement onWednesday that it would keep its interest-rate guidance intact,investors continued to bet on a likely rise in U.S. interestrates in the near future, after positive recently-releasedmacroeconomic figures. The dollar hit a six-year record of109.45 yen before closing at 109.04 yen. The euro was also weakagainst the yen, at 139.88. . .
