Costa Concordia removal operations continue

(AGI) Florence, July 18 - Refloating operations at the site ofcruise ship Costa Concordia's Giglio Island shipwreck continuedthroughout the night on Thursday. Set afloat on Monday morethan two and a half years after it ran aground on the populartourist island, by early Friday the Concordia floated fourmetres out of water, after divers attached a new floatationtank to the starboard side of the wreck. Later in the day,engineers were expected to attach the last of the starboardfloatation tanks - sponsons - before moving on to the bow. Oncethe wreck is fully buoyant
