China's manufacturing sector on the upswing again

(AGI) Beijing, June 23 - Chinese manufacturing industry isexpanding again after a five month contraction, in line withthe HSBC forecast for June 2014. HSBC's projections for thePurchasing Managers' Index (PMI) have reached 50.8 points. Thisresult far exceeded the May value of 49.4 which, althoughalready showing signs of recovery, remained under the 50 pointdividing line between expanding and contracting markets. Thisis the first time since December that the index has exceeded 50points. . .
