Chile metro blast injures fourteen

(AGI) Santiago, Sept 9 - Fourteen people were injured in a bombexplosion in the Santiago metro on Monday. No one has claimedresponsibility for the bombing although the Chilean governmentcalled it an act of terrorism. The bomb went off at lunchtimein the shopping centre of the Escluela Militar, a station onone of the busiest metro metro lines of the Chilean capital.According to early reconstructions it was a makeshift bomb madewith a fire extinguisher connected to a watch and placed in awaste paper bin.
