France celebrates its National Day at Expo Milano 2015 on Sunday, June 21. The official ceremony starts at 10.30 at the Expo Centre and shall be attended by the President of the Republic of France Francois Hollande and the President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic Matteo Renzi.
A National Day that celebrates also the 'Music Festival': concerts, DJ set and tastings.
Culinary and musical events shall take place throughout the day to celebrate both the National Day and the 'Music Festival' that, launched in France in 1982, involves nowadays many cities in the world. A brass band of 35 young French musicians shall play along the Decumano and there will be the DJ Set of Pablo Valentino (at the Foodtuck Peugeot inside the French Pavilion from 11.15 to 14.30), Yuksek (from 16.00 to 17.30 at the French Pavilion) and Jabberwocky (at the Foodtuck Peugeot inside the French Pavilion from 18.00 to 23.00.
Throughout the day, sweets shall be offered to all visitors by hostesses and stewards dressed in the colors of the French flag. A day of celebration, an occasion to learn about and share the Country's traditions and to taste its gastronomic specialties.
