Canada jazz festivals host Italian artists Rava and Fresu

(AGI) Ottawa, June 30 - Enrico Rava, Gianluca Petrella, PaoloFresu, Daniele di Bonaventura and the A Filetta singing groupwere the Italian performers in the Ottawa International JazzFestival, during two concerts held at the National Arts CentreStudio. Their Canadian tour included Quebec, with two shows atthe Festival International de Jazz de Montreal, staged at theMaison Symphonique de Montreal and at the Salle Ludger-DuvernayMonument National. The Canadian tour of these Italianartists was promoted by the Italian Embassy to Ottawa, andsponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal and theEuropean Union delegation to Ottawa, all within the frameworkof the 'Spotlight on Euro Jazz' programme at Ottawa'sInternational Jazz Festival. . .
