(AGI) Beijing, Sept 22 - The U.S. aerospace giant Boeing isplanning to settle in China and open a plant in Zhoushan, inthe eastern province of Zhejiang, not far from Shanghai. TheGroup has submitted the request to the Chinese governmentconcomitantly with Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to theUnited States. Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit Boeing's plantin Washington State on Wednesday, the first stop in the Chinesepresident's mission in the United States. The location chosenfor the plant will become a new aerospace industrial district,announced the Shanghai Securities News, an economic publicationof the Xinhua press agency. News was leaked last week thatBoeing could move the production of its 737 airplanes to Chinabut Boeing denied it.
