The show "Osti sull'orlo di una crisi di nervi" (Innkeepers on the verge of a nervous breakdown) written by food writer Valerio M. Visintin and directed by Luca Sandri takes place at the Slow Food Pavilion on Friday, October 2 at 19:00. It is a recital through words and music that takes a light-hearted look at the world of food, waiters and innkeepers, "fuffbloggers" and sommeliers, architects who create impossible ambiences and murderous air conditioning, guides who travel into the future and high-class chefs, and also mysterious "pre-bills" and all the other oddities from the world of catering. Admission to the show is free.
The world of food? A comic epic amidst thoughts, words, smiles and songs
The show focuses on the world of contemporary catering and speaks with humor about life sitting at the table. Do you remember when we used to go to the restaurant to eat? The good old days. The "food" advent has opened our eyes: today we do not eat at the restaurant, we taste. There is no cook in the kitchen, but a chef. So much ferment around the table. The kings of pots, chat shows, television hells, congresses, cooking shows and recipe books and the surreptitious advertising of producers, the crap in the oven, the waiters, the easy thinking of food bloggers, the bills that hardly ever add up correctly, food critics that always come back. The food circus is served. Starring Marisa Della Pasqua, Luca Sandri and the pianist Gianluca Sambataro. The play is enlivened with the songs of Fred Bongusto, Gorni Kramer, Giorgio Conte, Mina, Ornella Vanoni, Nino Ferrer, and Gino Paoli.
