(AGI) Rome, Nov 27 - The Italian wine producer Casale delGiglio will attend the Great Wines of Italy 2015 Asia Tour,which will take place in Bangkok on Nov. 29 and 30 beforemoving to Hong Kong on Dec. 2 and 3. The event was founded toshowcase Italian wines and will be hosted by internationallyrenowned wine critic James Suckling in collaboration with theleading Asian lifestyle and luxury magazine Hong Kong Tatler.The two events will be preceded by gala dinners, which willallow the wines to be appreciated alongside dishes created byMichelin-starred chef Massimo Mentasti from the Villa SparinaResort. Casale del Giglio will offer tastings for some of itsbest labels. Antinoo 2013 and Mater Matuta 2011 will beavailable in Bangkok, to be joined by Tempranijo 2013 in HongKong. By taking part in such a prestigious event, the Italianwine producer seeks to increase its presence in the Asianmarket. "Italian wine producers need to look to new horizons,and pay careful attention to the development of Mediterraneancooking abroad", said Antonio Santarelli from Casale delGiglio. "The Asian market is interesting because it is vast,experiencing rapid economic growth, and is a powerful drivingforce in dictating tastes and trends.
