(AGI) San Donato Milanese, Milan, Nov 23 - Italian energycompany Eni consolidated its leadership of Webranking Italia bywinning first prize for the third year. A survey by Comprendand Lundquist evaluated the online corporate communication of70 Italian listed companies. This year Eni scored 89.1 pointsout of 100. The www.eni.com website was rated for thecomprehensiveness of its presentation of the company'soperations, its presence around the world and the ratio betweensustainability and business model, Webranking reported.Particular focus was on the presentation of data and in-depthexplanation of its strategic plan, which includes the outlookfor this year. Innovation is a distinctive feature ofEni's DNA, said the report. Proof of this is its presence onsocial media. It recently opened a global page on Facebook andEniday, the online magazine on exploration and research. Thisincludes stories of people that work on the transformation ofnatural resources into energy. Eniday also feeds data to Eni'swebsites and social media for use by Italian and internationalusers in the dozen countries in which the company operates.Webranking's gold medal follows the second place eni.com won inthis year's global ranking of the Bowen Craggs survey.
