(VELINO) Roma, 17 Sep - Florence will host the third UNESCOForum on Culture and Cultural Industries from October 2nd toOctober 4th. Organised in agreement with UNESCO by the ForeignMinistry, the Ministry for Cultural Heritage, the Tuscan Regionand the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, this event willbe a high profile international rendezvous and an opportunityfor debates on the role cultural industries play as the drivingforce of economic development and technological innovation aswell as involving citizens, the media and Italy's manufacturingsector. One of the event's most important moments will be theadoption of its final statement, the "Florence Declaration",containing all the results of the debate and experiences thatemerged during the forum.
