(VELINO) Roma, 17 Sep - Florence will host the third UNESCOForum on Culture and Cultural Industries from October 2nd toOctober 4th. Organised in agreement with UNESCO by the ForeignMinistry, the Ministry for Cultural Heritage, the Tuscan Regionand the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, this event willbe a high profile international rendezvous and an opportunityfor debates on the role cultural industries play as the drivingforce of economic development and technological innovation aswell as involving citizens, the media and Italy's manufacturingsector. The meeting was presented at a pressconference held in Paris attended by UNESCO's director generalIrina Bokova, the Minister for Cultural Heritage DarioFranceschini, the Foreign Ministry's Under Secretary MarioGiro, the Mayor of Florence Dario Nardella and Tuscany'sCulture and Tourism Councillor, Sara Nocentini. vel.
