(AGI) Washington, March 10 - U.S. Secretary of State JohnKerry will meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi twodays prior to the annual Sharm el-Sheik economic summit,scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, said U.S. Department ofState spokeswoman, Jen Psaki. The talks will focus on the roleEgypt is playing in the current crisis in Libya, the fightagainst terror in Sinai, the results obtained by theinternational coalition against Isis and the crisis in Syria."The United States is committed to strengthening its long-termstrategic and economic partnership with Egypt," said Ms Psaki. On Mar. 12 Mr Kerry will meet Mr al-Sisi for the third timesince he was elected president in June 2014. The relationsbetween the two countries have been stable for over a decade,but have cooled since the overthrow of Egypt's Islamistpresident, Mohammed Morsi. (AGI). .
