(AGI) Milan, June 24th - The Triptych with Madonna and Saintsby Antonello da Messina has been recomposed after 400 yearsapart. The work will be shown at the Bagatti Valsecchi museumin Milan, transformed for the occasion in the RenaissancePavilion as part of the Fine Arts plan for Milan Expo, assignedby Lombardy Region to art critic Vittorio Sgarbi. "Renaissance- The Triptych by Antonello da Messina recomposed" went ondisplay on Wednesday afternoon. Along with the triptych, toembellish the show, are a Madonna by Vincenzo Foppa, anAnnunciation by Piero della Francesca and a Pieta by Perugino."This initiative is part of our Fine Arts plan for Expo, whichwe have entrusted to Professor Sgarbi, and into which we haveput great effort and many resources, because Expo is a greatopportunity to enhance the historical and artistic heritage ofLombardy, which is second to none," said President of LombardyRoberto Maroni.
