(AGI) London, Mar 20 - The third Bocconi Alumni GlobalConference opened in London on Friday. The two-day continuouslearning and networking event is being held at the Hilton inPark Lane. Former students and leading international financialand political figures are taking part, as is the ItalianAmbassador in London and promoter of the conference, PasqualeTerracciano. The event is split into five sections and willfocus particularly on the future of relations between theEuropean Union and the UK, on the expansion vs. austeritydilemma, and on future prospects for Europe. The issue ofEurope and global competitiveness will be debated, as will therole of leadership within the context of growth and learning.Vodafone Group CEO Vittorio Colao, economist Guido Tabelliniand Association President Pietro Guindani will be among thespeakers, along with delegates from companies such as J.P.Morgan, Amazon and La Rinascente. The conference will bebrought to a close by Bocconi President, Life Senator andformer Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti. The event has beenorganised by the Bocconi Alumni Association, a point ofreference for more than 90,000 former students from 110different countries. (AGI). .
