(AGI) Frankfurt, Sept 22 - Siemens AG, a German multinationalengineering and electronics conglomerate, has paid 7.6 billiondollars for Dresser-Rand, an American company that producesequipment for oil rigs. The German industrial giant isexpanding its operations on the U.S. energy market. Siemensalso ended its 45-year venture with Bosch, in the electricalhousehold appliance sector, after selling its 5 percent stakein BSH Bosch und Siemens GmbH to its partner for 3 billioneuros.
