(AGI) Baghdad, Oct 1 - At least 1,119 Iraqis were killed inSeptember and 1,946 others were injured, the U.N. AssistanceMission for Iraq (UNAMI) reports. It did not give a specificbreak down of the numbers caused by the Islamic Stateoffensive. Among those killed, 854 were civilians and 265 weremembers of the security forces, which included KurdishPeshmerga forces. UNAMI has warned that it is impossible toverify information supplied on many of the deaths caused by theside effects of war, such as a lack of medical care, or a lackof food and water. (AGI)
