The deployment involves some battalions butnobody knows when they are expected to move."The government had given indication it might recall troopsinvolved in foreign missions across the world to enhance theoperational efficiency and capacity of the troops in the fightagainst Boko Haram, when the National Orientation Agencydisclosed in Abuja late January during a media briefing. "Thereis a need for 'troops surge' in operational areas, which mayrequire recalling Nigerian troops from peace mission abroad toenhance the operational capabilities of the Nigerian Army."(AGI).
