(AGI) Montecarlo, Sept 12 - The Principality of Monaco will bedevoting the entire month of October to a celebration ofItalian culture and language, in a festival organised by theItalian Embassy and conceived by Ambassador Antonio Morabito.The programme for the fourth edition includes cinema, music,photography, crafts, publishing, theatre, art, food and wineand even business culture. The festival will open with anexhibition of works by contemporary Italian artists, along withSe(e)a, a lighting installation by artist Marco Nereo Rotelli,the ballet Passion, starring leading Teatro alla Scala dancersLeon Cino and Beatrice Carbone, and Roberto Orengo and DiegoCampagna performing chamber music. The event includes anexhibition of photographs by Fabrizio la Torre, Le Monde desAnnees 50, and a fashion show featuring creations by youngdesigners, presented by the National Chamber of Fashion. TheMarquis of Grillo will be screened at the Theatre des Varietesin homage to actor and film director Alberto Sordi, while theDante Alighieri Committee will be producing From Inferno toInfinity, starring Monica Guerritore. The 14th Annual ItalianLanguage in the World Week, organised by the Italian ForeignOffice and dedicated to the theme Writing the New Europe:Italian Publishing, Authors and Readers in the Digital Era,will also be held in October.
