(AGI) Luxembourg, Sept 26 - Belval, a former industrial parkturned exhibition centre in Luxembourg's city ofEsch-sur-Alzette, is currently hosting "Memoria Futuro" (MemoryFuture), an exhibition on Italy's heritage conservationtechnologies and initiatives. Promoted by the Italian Embassyin Luxembourg and curated by the Turin-based RosselliFoundation, the event is part of the broader cultural calendarcelebrating Italy's EU presidency. The exhibition featuresthree sections, the first of which on discovery, diagnostic andresearch tools, the second on preservation, protection andrestoration techniques, and the third on public viewing,knowledge building and dissemination methods. Key exhibitsinclude a virtual tour of the National Museum of Iraq,developed using thermography and laser scanning techniques.Earlier this month, the exhibition's inauguration was attendedby Italian ambassador Stefano Maria Cacciaguerra and hisSpanish and Japanese counterparts, Luxembourg's FinanceMinister, Pierre Gramegna, Marshall of the Court Pierre Bley,Rosselli Foundation DirectorFrancesca Traclo' and members ofLuxembourg's resident Italian community.
