Nino Barilla' came third in the double trap in theafternoon. Sport shooter Niccolo' Campriani watched as hisgirlfriend Zublasing competed. "I'm happy to have ended strong, without dropping the pace. Niccolo' was there today, it wasquite funny when they made him say 'I love you' in Azerbaijani,I even turned around," she said after the final. "Compared toNiccolo', I do everything in black and white while he's moretowards grey. Maybe that's why it's a bit easier for me toaccept these new rules that reward the intermediate shootermore than the strongest one," Zublasing added. Barilla', forhis part, showed great conviction and promises to be aprotagonist at the Shooting World Cup in Rio de Janeiro. "I'vedecided to suspend my postgraduate degree for the time beingbecause I believe things need to be done one at a time in orderto do them well," Barilla' stated. "I hope to continue afterRio, as long as I still have my wits about me. Rio is my onlygoal right now. Everything I'm doing, today's medal, the WorldCup victory, and winning at the Olympics, it's all the resultof training, that isn't just going there and shooting, it takestechnical and physical preparation. It takes time, so I can'tdo anything else. I'm happy with the way things are, I'llprobably finish my degree after Rio," he said.
