Previously, the diplomathad attended the Lahore Literature Festival (LLF), an eventco-sponsored, for the second time, by the Italian Embassy inIslamabad, thus confirming its commitment to supportingcultural events in Pakistan. Ambassador Cianfarani expressedhis appreciation for the festival which, despite the recentbomb blast, was attended by many high level speakers andauthors from around the world, who provided a platform for anopen and frank discussion on issues ranging from art to cultureand foreign policy.
