(AGI) Turin, June 12 - Italy and Egypt will consolidate theirscientific collaboration in the cultural heritage sector in aworkshop to be held in Turin's Egyptian Museum on June 15. Theworkshop is sponsored by the Italian National Research Council(CNR). "The bilateral meeting will outline operating guidelinesfor upcoming Italo-Egyptian commitments on cultural heritageand involves numerous researchers from both countries. Inaddition, it reinforces the idea that, especially in thisfield, it is essential to privilege integration and interactionamong different skills, thus making scientific research,conservation, the use and monetisation of our heritage convergetowards the same objectives and capture the interest of privateinvestors," explained CNR president Luigi Nicolais. Themeeting follows the agreement signed a few months ago betweenthe Fondazione Museo Egizio and the CNR establishing a researchunit at Turin's Egyptian Museum. (AGI) . .
